The Age Circle
The eight outer points mark ages: A = birth, F = 10, B = 20, G = 30, C = 40, H = 50, D = 60, I = 70, returning to A at 80. Between each pair, three more points are added by halving: the midpoint (5 years), then the quarter points (2.5 years), then eighths (about 1.25 years). Each point is the sum of its neighbours, reduced to 22.

Reading an Example
For 27.03.1990 the main age points are: birth 9, age 10 12, 20 3, 30 22, 40 19, 50 5, 60 4 and 70 13. The year between 20 and 30 therefore moves from 3 (The Empress) towards 22 (The Fool), passing through 7 at age 25.
